Medication Management
Initial consultations are scheduled for longer visits to allow more time for a thorough review of your current symptoms and past medical history. On your first visit you will receive a formal diagnosis (or working diagnosis) and learn whether medications can be helpful. You may receive new prescriptions on your first visit. You will also be counseled about lifestyle changes that you can make to improve your well-being, both mentally and physically. You will then be scheduled for a medication management follow up visit. The length between visits is determined by many factors. Each treatment plan is unique to the individual’s values and concerns.
